All Huge Book Sales are held in the lower level of the Hamilton Free Public Library, 1 Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr. Way, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
NOTE TO DEALERS: NO SCANNERS ON SATURDAYS. Dealers with scanners and large purchases may only peruse on MONDAY Sale Dates, No Saturdays.
BOOK SALES STARTING JULY 2021
The Library is open, but MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES until policies change. The public is welcome.
Book Sales with thousands of items:
Saturday July 17 9 am to 4 pm (no dealers)
Monday July 19 9 am to 4m (dealers and scanners allowed)
Doors do not open until 9 am. All sales are cash and are final. Please maintain social distancing as much as possible. The July Book Sales will use all rooms of the Lower Level so we can be spread out.
Many items and books will be reduced in cost to free backlogs.

The Hamilton Library has closed and suspended all gatherings in meeting rooms at least until the end of the year (2020). If this changes or if we can offer sales again, it will be posted here.
When the Library reopens, Huge Book Sales are held on a Saturday 9 am to 4 pm, and the following Monday 9 am to 5 pm, once every other month. When sales open they may have limited attendance, physical distancing, wearing or masks, and other restrictions.
Doors not open until strictly at 9 am.

Generally, Hardcover books/Bestsellers/Trades $.50 and up, usually $1.00 – $3.00; Magazines $.25 each or bundles for $1.00; Poetry books, plays and booklets $.10-$.25 each; most Anthologies $.25; Children’s books and items usually $.10 – $.50 cents, some $1.00; Music/movie/book CDs/DVDs usually $.25 to $1.00 (sets cost more); vintage and signed books as marked. There’s much more to choose from including plants, puzzles, jewelry, and special items! All items are priced to sell, and sales income helps provide benefits like computers, museum passes, Ancestry.com access, furniture, carts, and more for Hamilton Library.
All sales are final and we can only accept CASH. Receipts can be requested.
Bulk sales are available to dealers who join the Friends. Under supervision during an appointment, a dealer may peruse our extensive stacks of books and materials. Extra discounts may be available.
Also, our Daily Sales table and stacks, and a small room on the Main Floor with shelves and containers of books of all genres and types, will open 10:30 am to 4 pm depending on circumstances when the Library reopens.
Also, in the staircase lobby are free well-used and older books as you enter the Library. Do not drop off used/read books in the lobby or at the sales table.
Used books and magazines drop-offs in the side blue bins are now reopen as of September 15, 2020.
All Saturday Sale times are 9 am to 4 pm; all Monday times are 9 am to 5 pm.
All Big Sales take place on the lower level of the Library, entrance through the lower level doors. Doors only open strictly at 9 am once sales resume.
