NJ State Parks
by author, photographer and lecturer Kevin Woyce
Some of New Jersey’s most interesting history and sights can be found in more than two dozen State Parks.
Names such as Wawayanda and Hopatcong remind us of the “Original People” of our land. Historic battlefields during perilous years as “the Crossroads of the Revolution” show us where the history of America began. Abandoned forges still speak of our first great industry and the first canals that made transportation of goods possible. The slide show includes the above and more, including vintage maps and images of historic people, places and events.
